Religion Project Update Week 2

I am now two weeks into my religion project. This week I didn’t get as far in it as I wanted to. Last week was for research and I definitely got enough to write my essay. I learned so many things about Voodoo not only about the religion but also about the history and why it is so misunderstood.  I am still working on my essay which I could finish over the weekend. I am about three fourths of the way done and so far I think that the content is very interesting although I still have a lot of facts to sort through and see if I want to include them in my essay.

I still havn’t posted any spells onto my tumblr blog. I found a few only on about three websites which I don’t know if I should trust. People make their websites and use false information to play with Voodoo. That is the reason why I don’t know if I can trust some sites. Some of the spells I find on websites I can tell that they are fake and some sound very real. Most of the sites say “Free Voodoo Spells”, Those are the ones I mostly question. I will try very hard to find some more either on the internet or in books (if I have time to go to the library). Finding spells was a lot harder than I thought it would be.

Next week I hope to have my essay finished and try to get it edited by at least two or three classmates. I will also spend most of my time researching and finding spells to post. So far I have been on my religion calendar and I hope to follow it for the whole four weeks of the project.
